Christmas Package Opening!

Hey guise!

So this is a bit of a weird post, because we don’t have a video to accompany it: just pictures and text. But since with this WordPress theme we can’t make a post without a video, and we had to post something, here’s a video of a Fireplace. Woot!

But now on to the pictures and the stories!

Now, we usually open up packages via LiveChats on Fridays, but we’re not doing any more LiveChats this year. It’s Christmas! But we saw that some of these packages were meant for Christmas, so we didn’t want them to go to waste, so we wanted to open them now. But why not do it on video, you say? Well, we don’t want to get into too many details, but we’re going through a few health issues at the moment and don’t have the juice to be on camera. Our EYKAs are delayed as well as a result. We’re sorry. It’s been really poopy for us over these past couple of weeks.

Opening these packages, though, was exceptionally pleasant, and made us really happy. Thank you to Harry, Mindy, Kei, Ania and Magda. You really helped us through this year’s Christmas Eve Eve. Like, the eve before Christmas Eve. Is that a thing? We’ll call it a thing.

Anyhow, pictures!

Let me just say, Mindy, your presents were awesome! Thank you for taking so much time to wrap them all up. It’s amazing. We actually, errmm, are more excited for the wrapping paper than the contents inside. We don’t have any wrapping paper, so we kinda went to Home Plus and Kinda stole a bunch of their fliers and kinda used that as wrapping paper, as you can see in one of the pictures above. HA! So thank you for the awesome box of awesome stuff, with the even more AWESOME wrapping paper!

Also, Kei, your KitKats didn’t make it through the night. We ate them all. All of them. Gone :D

Ok! Now back to us making eggnog for tomorrow. They don’t sell it here in Korea, so we’re making some of our own. It takes a while, but it’s worth it, FOR CHRISTMAS!

    • There are other Yule Log videos on YouTube of various durations, I even found that was as long as twelve hours! The idea of a Yule Log was originally conceived by a New York City TV station in 1966 as an annual way for city dwellers without a fireplace of their own to have a virtual one as a backdrop for their Christmas celebration and to allow the station’s employees the time off to be with their families. It was inexplicably cancelled by new station management in 1990 despite many letters of protest, given that the Yule Log airs for 2-4 hours every year without commercial interruption. It took the events of 11 September 2001 to prompt a revival of the tradition and it has aired every Christmas ever since. Variations on the theme were aired by other stations and networks across North America over the years, and now it has migrated to the Internet as well.
