Eatyourkimchi on Arirang TV!

A while ago we mentioned that we were going to be on Arirang TV. Remember that? We posted pictures on Twitter and wrote about it on our Facebook Fan page as well. You probably thought we were lying, didn’t you? Well we weren’t! The videos are finally finished and airing tomorrow (Monday June 28th, 2010) on Arirang TV!

The first TV show is called “Quilt Your Korean Map” and it explores green tea and traditional Korean rice alcohol, makgoli. If you’re watching Arirang Korea, it will be on at 9:00PM, and if you’re watching Arirang Worldwide it will be on at 8:30PM.

The second one is a part of the “Today’s Blog” series, and it’s just a mini-TV show that features bloggers living in Korea. We don’t know when it will be aired, but they gave it to us so we could put it up on our website! Yay! We hope you enjoy the shows, they were really fun to film. If any of you do happen to see us on TV, please let us know! We haven’t actually seen the final version of “Quilt Your Korean Map” yet, so we’d love to hear what you think about it.

Soooooo coool. You guys look awesome! Seriously. I tried to sign up for arirang worldwide online to watch but it's not working :( Hopefully you'll get a copy of the video so we can watch it.

WOW! that is great too bad i dont get Arirang at all… try to record it and post it. because I would love to see it. Or I am subed to the Arirang Youtube channel try to persuade them to post it there… I am so happy for you guys. My dream is to finish Uni and go to korea and you two make it so hard to wait (thats a good thing because you are doing a good job of showing the cool things about korea)

Cool, can't wait to be there! Had our first Korean food trial at a restaurant in Milan. The owners were actually from Seoul and were really nice and chatted with us for a while.

We finally could try tteokbokki (and other things) after seing it on your videos!!! Couldn't wait anymore! :)

ahaha i saw you guys on arirang when i woke up this morning but i only saw the last part where you guys were tasting the makgeoli

after your segment it went to some other guy who went to make clay bowls

i also saw the little comment simon made at the ending credits and the cute pictures you guys took ^^

i've always found arirang's tourism segments kind of cheesey but fun to watch (as a foreigner). this wasn't any different

i'll be waiting for 'today's blog'!
i guess i'm blessed to be able to watch arirang on television for free in los angeles :DD
