Students learn how to say more than “how are you I am fine nice to meet you.” You’ll go over different greetings and different departures according to the handout, and then play a game with it afterwards. You’re fully able to add or take away from the sheet if there’s anything missing or – worse – anything that makes you sound like a dork. We can sound like dorks sometimes…

I used this at the beginning of the school year and I have to say it went well. I tied it into my 2nd year lesson and also taught it to my 1st year students. I told them I don’t want to hear I am fine anymore and if the said I am fine, then I will kill them lol. The game was fun and even my Co took the Kaboom idea. I don’t know what she used it for, but I think that game can be adapted for other lessons so that students can practice the target language. Thanks again.
