We’re Mac nerds. Ok. We’re not ashamed to say it. So we were pretty happy when we found out that iMovie was updated, especially since we wore out the last version of iMovie 11. Anyhow, we started playing around with it, and were really impressed with the Movie Trailers feature they now have. All you have to do is drop in the kinds of clips they’re asking for (like, Action Shots, or Landscape Shots), fill in the blanks for the credits, and you’re done. We tried it out with some fun footage we have of Spudgy running through the grass in Canada, from back when we made our Koreatown video. We never used it, and really wanted to because we loved the clips, so this was our chance.
Anyhow, for those of you interested in making your own video blog, iMovie’s great fun. Most of our projects lately are in Final Cut, and – even though it’s really cool – it’s not fun. Not fun at all. This was fun. We found ourselves abruptly stopping to laugh and clap gleefully. Then we’d join hands and skip down the streets and sing songs. Lalalalala! Then in would rain lollipops from the sun. Delicious!
…Where were we? Oh yeah! For those of you who were concerned about Spudgy’s bad hips, you’ll see that he’s fine in the video! He runs and frolics. He just can’t put all of his weight on his back legs or move them awkwardly. Poor guy! So, if you love Spudgy, and want to make sure he lives a long and happy life, you should get a Spudgy shirt, like the one Simon wore in the T.O.P. video! Every Spudgy shirt purchased guarantees at least ten minutes of petting the Spudgy. You want Spudgy to be happy, don’t you?
Viva la Spudgy!
