How good is your dental hygiene? Carry floss with you in case of emergencies? Have a small bottle of mouthwash in your dashboard? If your friends think you are obsessive with the way you clean your teeth, then maybe you should move to Korea, where brushing your teeth isn’t just a matter of hygiene, it’s a lifestyle. Martina recorded the great extent to which her school cares about the state of its teeth. You’ll be surprised.

    They must hate the dentist.

  2. I have noticed that with my Korean friends here in the States too!

Is Simon’s school like this, also? =) That’s nice they allow time after lunch for this. In the States, it’s just rushing here and there, no time for students to do any of this. =/

THIS IS AWESOME!! I love brushing my teeth! I even have 2 types of tooth paste that I use depending on what Im going to be eating and doing! YAY! Im super excited about my teaching job for next year! Can’t wait to go! :^)

  5. I love how you put a Locoroco song for this ! *o*

  6. I realised as I was watching this video that the UV box in the staff toilets had ‘serilization’ written on it…lol
I’m a sucker for spelling and just had tot mention the fact that there was a ‘t’ missing.

    that sterilization thing!

  8. I watched that video with my mouth wide open in shock. WOW! In my high school the after lunch solution was chewing gum. :D

  9. wow, I think you work at a freaking awesome high school.. my high school wasn't like that! many of us brushed out teeth during lunch, but toothbrush box in a washroom?? awesome…

  10. Shame they don't wash their hands with equal regularity!

  11. I think it's great they give time after lunch to brush your teeth especially those with braces I'm sure are happy lol (as a former braces wearer). I don't recall ever seeing anyone in my high school brushing their teeth after lunch sadly. Now days, at least here in the U.S., I've seen they have these little portable toothbrushes and all you have to do is add water and it apparently has the tooth paste already in it. That would be a nice. Love how they even bring their own cups to rinse out their mouth and the cute little lockers they leave everything in.

  12. Yeah~ It's normal in Korea.

I don't use mouthwash stuff. It doesn't feel like… fresh.

I guess most korean feel the same way.

  13. Hi Guys,

I'm VERY excited about the oral hygiene in Korea. I love bushing my teeth and really hope my new school has a toothbrush box for staff!
