Our First 360 VR Video!

Hi everyone!

So this is a silly little video we shot on our Gaming channel. We were in the YouTube Tokyo Space a while ago for the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare event, and after the event we shot a 360 degree video. And when we were asked to think of a script, this was the best we could think of. Dying by attempting 360 degree no scope.

What’s that, you ask? Well I just learned about it after dying lots of times while playing the game. If you can jump 360 degrees and then shoot someone without using your scope, it’s supposedly really good. I’m not good to shoot someone without jumping 360 degrees, so trying this in the game wouldn’t work for me. Trying it on video, though, sounds more doable. And so we shot this video :D

We’re not the best actors, if you can’t tell. That’s why you can always trust our videos: we’re only good at being sincere. Acting is…weird for us.

It’s shot in 360 degrees, though, so you can see all around us. If you’ve got a VR set while watching this, IT’S SO COOL! The cameraman following us had this huge rig of, like, 16 GoPro cameras all in a circle, and he followed us as the rig moved. It was the weirdest filming experience we ever did, but I definitely want to do more VR in the future. What if we did this in cool parts of Japan or the rest of the world?! We could have done this when we were snorkelling with turtles in Hawaii. That would have been amazing. I’m super interested in this.

So that’s it for now. I hope you found this cool. We’ll go back to making our regular videos on our gaming channel now. Got more Final Fantasy to play!

  4. Haha this gave me a smile on my face. It reminds me of childhood meets a larp but with cameras! You look like you had a blast filming it! I certainly enjoyed it.
