Three More Movies

Filed as: Korea FTW! // Responses: 7

Here’s a hodgepodge of unrelated movies. The first is of our experience with take home pizza. Yes, we are obsessed with pizza, as you all know, so it’s only befitting that we make many movies and take many pictures of Korean pizza. We’re just amazed at how things are done differently here. The second is of a crazy crosswalk we have to take to get to school. When the pedestrian light turns green it means everyone can walk across, even on diagonals.

The best part of the second video is you hear Martina say “illegal manouevers” when a scooted flies by. Why does she say that? Because scooters and motorcycles don’t seem to have any laws to abide by here in Korea. They ride on the road, and when the road is full they ride on the sidewalk, and weave through all pedestrians. They go through red lights whenever they want, weave in and out of traffic, and, if they feel like it, drive in the oncoming traffic lanes. Nothing can stop them. Mr. Stawski would love it here…

The last video is of Martina’s new visor. It’s so geeky and dorky that there’s nothing more to write about it. Just watch it.

That is very smart because the face and hands have the most sun exposure, there for we should have habits in preventative damage.
Damages from A,B,and C. The sun can be our friend as long as we don't over expose ourselves leaving our bodies overwhelmed from responding to repairs. Even though the different spectrum of color from the rays can be healing, it can leave the largest organ on the human body scarred. The less chemical products we add to our skin the less our bodies have to work to get rid of it. Even though Sunblock/Sunscreen is promoted the best thing since sliced bread, opaque coverage is the best. Fashion trends usually don't pick up on this, although sunglasses seem to make the cut. I've never heard of Sunscreen for the eye balls, have you?

I thought sunscreen for the eyeballs was called "sunglasses." Anyhow, we thought it was cool when we saw it :D

I was just looking thru your old videos and stumbled on this video. I’ve only been in Korea a few weeks but I just tried the same exact pizza! Do you remember this pizza? I was expecting something similar to a stuff crust pizza, but in addition to cheese I found a strange yellow sauce in the cheese puffs. I have no idea what it was but it was very different. Any ideas?
