February 27, 2015
It’s been a really long time since our last LiveChat. We were gone for January, and had some things to deal with in December, and then for most of this February we’ve had the flu and colds, but now we’re functional! We spent an entire week in the studio and did lots of video stuff. AAWWW YEAH! What better way to top it all off than to hang out with you guise for a LiveChat? Yes!
Anyhow, we had a great time with this week’s LiveChat. It feels like it’s been forever, and we were really happy chatting with you guise and being loud and obnoxious in our cafe. Hooray! Seriously, though: that brown and blue dress thing isn’t anywhere close to white and gold. People do know the different between gold and bronze, right? Gold is yellowy. I don’t see anything yellowy in that picture at all. And you know it’s true. I don’t even know how this became such a big thing.
Otherwise, yes, I’m dieting again, and it’s sad and tough but I’ve already lost five pounds and look a lot better in the mirror than before, I think. We’re going to Punta Cana at the end of March. Our first time in the Dominican Republic! And our first tropical adventure together. We went on a cruise for our Honeymoon, and only really spend a few hours in each location, but since then we’ve pretty much spent our vacation time visiting our families. This time, we’re spending a week at a resort and we’re gonna swim and lounge and do nothing! We’re also stopping by to see our families for the week before we go to Punta Cana, so we can adjust to jet lag before the wedding, so we don’t sleep through the wedding (ha!). Anyhow, point is, if we do take any pictures of our time there for the wedding, I’ll look half-decent, I hope :D
Special thanks to:
Jennifer from Newfoundland, Canada
Veronica Mejia, again, from LA, CA
Your packages were awesome! Thank you for making me remember how I lost my last tooth. I like unlocking memories like that. Anyone ever read Proust? I doubt it, because he’s not that mainstream, I don’t think. Anyhow, he said something along the lines of spirits being trapped in inanimate objects, and you unlock them when you see them, and the memories of those objects take you at that moment. Otherwise, they keep their secrets hidden until you see them. He said it a lot prettier than I did, of course, but I still love that feeling of seeing things and remembering things I wouldn’t have remembered otherwise. I feel that a lot when I walk around Pickering, and I pass the old houses of old friends, I remember the times I spent there, and I otherwise never would have thought of them. I’m rambling now. I just like the mystery of memories, and so I love reading Proust, who has the best book ever written about memories.
Whoa, that took an awkward tour. I’ll stop now. Thanks for hanging out with us this week, our first week of full health! It feels great being back in the studio and filming and publishing and all. AWW YEAH. Hope to see you in next week’s chat as well!
