Ok, so we debated doing this one for a while. At first we saw these and didn’t know anything about them, and thought that they were just a product of Korea. But then we thought to ourselves that maybe we’ve been away from North America for a while, and that these masks are probably quite common by now. Theeeeeennnn we met some people who were visiting from France, and they, too, said that they didn’t see these masks in France. So…we decided to make this our Wonderful Treasure Find! Korean Paper Facial Masks!

Korean Face Sheet Masks

Korea’s really great for beauty products. Sure, sometimes they take beauty a bit too far (like with the Nose Rollers) but otherwise Martina’s been having a field day with all the clay masks. These paper ones, though, aren’t that great. They are really delicate so slapping them on in a rush is not a good idea. For both our faces we found it didn’t fit properly. Perhaps it’s due to our giant noses; the masks felt a little lopsided. On the plus side, they’re actually really refreshing. If you popped one into the fridge for a couple hours it would be GLORIOUS after a hot day in the sun or to cool a sunburn. Also, both our faces were quite moist afterwards even through the recommend time was 20-30 minutes and we only did half. In the end, I think the low price of these face masks and the no-mess factor really makes they worth the price. You’re looking at roughly $1.00 – $3.00. Wow!

Anyhow, it’s monthly WTF Care Package giveaway time! Perfect timing, because we just started our B2ST “Fiction and Fact” cd giveaway contest as well. Well aren’t we feeling generous? I doubt we can do a TL;DR giveaway. That might be odd. What could we possibly give away? Doesn’t matter. On with this contest!

To win, all you have to do is tell us what flavor of face mask you’d make. It could be as funky as Gold Caviar, or as tame as Blueberry. Please, no Cream of Sumyungguy jokes. We’ll pick our favorite one next week, and mail our a WTF care package with Korean Stationery, Korean Air Masks, and Korean Mouth Stretchers. Huzzah! Also, thanks again to Won San, who gave us the Ddung Products a while ago. He included the Peptide Face Mask in there as well :D
