YouTube’s Life in a Day

YouTube recently had it’s Life in a Day event, in which we had to shoot a video about a day in our lives. We submitted it to YouTube and, if the directors like it, they’ll use it for a video they’re making, where thousands of thousands of other people also submitted their lives in a day. If they really like it, they’ll invite us out to the Sundance Film Festival with them. Amazing! There are a couple of problems with the movie, though, which make prevents this from being like the rest of our movies:

#1 – It can’t be edited. Raw footage is what they’re looking for, kinda just dumped together, so they can pick and choose more accurately. We kinda rely on editing for our videos, so this video is really nothing like what we usually make. It’s really boring if you ask me. Sorry!
#2 – We weren’t in Korea! We were actually on a plane! A bizarre time warp occurred as a result, which you’ll learn about in the movie. We would have loved to have made life in a day in Korea, because that’s pretty much what we always do. Too bad! Not much you can shoot on an airplane, really.

So, most of the video is of us on a Korean Air airplane, but at the end you’ll see us reunited with our families, so that’s really nice. Gets us kinda emotional when we look at it. Sniff! Altogether, we think it was too cool of an opportunity to pass up, so we made a video for Life in a Day. Here’s to hoping we get picked!
