So, this is another video in which we show everyone how sappy of a couple we are. Poor Leigh and Soo Zee have to deal with this a lot more now that we’re on our road trip than before. The two of us can be sappy with each other in private at home, and be a bit more reserved when we’re around all of our single coworkers in the studio, but now Leigh and Soo Zee are living with us for the 6 weeks we’re on this Meet Your Kimchi tour, so they have to deal with us being mushy. This video is a good example of it :D
Anyhow, we’ve done a couple videos on Korean Toothbrushing before, but I’m not really even sure if this qualifies as a Korean product here. Do people do this in other parts of the world, with couple toothbrushes and couple toothbrush holders? This just feels very Korean to me because couple culture is huge in Korea, toothbrushing culture is bigger here than anywhere else I’ve been, and this seemed like a blend of both worlds.
Also, just out of curiosity, can any of you make the sound that Martina and I make with our throats? The best way to spell it out is “mgm.” The sound comes through your nose. It’s like humming, but saying the letter G in between your hum at the back of your throat. For some reason, everyone we’ve done this around has found replicating the sound impossible. I’m not sure if we’re just both genetically defective or if we’re not explaining how to make the sound properly.
And, if you can’t tell, the place we’re staying in isn’t our own. We’re staying at an Airbnb. Probably the nicest place we’ve ever been to, even compared to where we were in Bali. We’ll share more pictures and videos of it once we’re done our road trip video. For now, here’s a code for $25 on your first Airbnb stay. We use lots of them when we’re traveling, if you couldn’t tell by now.
So that’s it! If you want to get cute toothbrush holders like this Gmarket has a couple that they offer here, though if you shop around you can find different designs that are more up your alley. Ok now off to bed! Tomorrow we have our meetup in LA, and then we’re off to Houston! AHHH! These events always get me so nervous!!!
