You know, I wish I had a bit more foresight when I bought this evil cat unicorn horn in Japan. We were hanging out with Rachel and Jun one afternoon in Osaka, and we walked over to this giant mall that had a store in it that Rachel highly recommended for WTF items. We found a couple of gems that we have saved for future WTFs. I found one that Martina was totally not interested in getting: it was a thing you put in your fridge that yells at you if you keep your fridge open for too long. It’s brilliant! But she didn’t want it. Poop. I wouldn’t let her burst my bubble a second time when I saw the evil cat unicorn horn, though, so I bought it without asking her. BAM! I’m an adult! I can buy things! So when I showed it to her and ripped up the receipt, I realized that I should have been a bit more patient when she said “how will it stay on Meemers’ head if he doesn’t have ears?” Touche, Martina. Touche.
Otherwise, apart from using this thing for a video, I can’t think of a single useful purpose for putting it on your cat. Well, pictures as well. Instagram. Facebook. This is a product whose function is to be seen online. I can’t really see a situation in which someone buys the product, puts it on their cat at home, and thinks to themselves “yeah, that’s good,” and then leaves. Video and photo evidence is mandatory.
A couple of other things: HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY! I hope you’re all doing something semi enjoyable. You might have noticed that this WTF was a bit short and that Martina wasn’t in it. Well, we both got whomped with Yellow Dust (and if you don’t know what it is, check our video in which we talk about Yellow Dust in Korea), and now we’re coughing and snotting up a storm. So Martina couldn’t do much on camera, but thankfully we have two co-stars, Spudgy and Meemers, who can carry on a show of their own. And now, back to bed for us! We’re gonna try to celebrate our Valentine’s Day tomorrow, hopefully, if we’re slightly better by then :D
