Whoa guise! Two Meemers Open the Happy videos in a row! He’s been a bit silly lately. Spudgy’s been rather calm and unsure with the new move, while Meemers has been all over the place now that he’s comfortable with the place. Now that it’s his, he feels the need to protect it and to kill anything that isn’t family. Hence, any giant pink plastic bag must die.
I will say, though, that Meemers doesn’t have the best hunting instincts. If you’re going to take on a beast that’s much larger than you, sitting on it and swiping at it from time to time isn’t the best attack plan.
Or maybe he wasn’t interested really in attacking it. Maybe he just really likes sitting on crinkly bags, and just gave the appearance of attacking something in hopes that we’d keep moving it and making it crinkle more. Oh Meemers: you sneaky, clever cat. No wonder you’re a doctor!
We tossed out the bag in the end, sadly. I kinda wanted to keep it because it’s so much fun for the Meemers, but hot damn where am I gonna keep that bag in the off-hours that Meemers isn’t using it? I can’t keep that in storage. I don’t like keeping things in storage. We do have another bag, though, and it’s covering our Christmas tree, simply because Meemers will attack the Christmas tree year round until it’s fully dead. Also, the Christmas tree is covered in sparkles, and then Meemers carries those sparkles all around the apartment, and then we get a too sparkly apartment. Did I mention that living with cats is fun?
