Aw! Let me start off by saying how sad I was when we filmed this video. I was really excited for these items, because they looked terrifying and awesome, but – sadly – they’re “free size” which sounds so much nicer than it actually is. Free size! Sounds like a baggy shirt you wear on a cool summer’s day, while you twirl and the wind blows and you love live and stuff like that, but no! Free Size just means “I made one size and if you don’t fit then you’re free to GTFO.”
I didn’t fit the free size. I’m a big dude. Well, I’m not the target demographic to begin with, I don’t think. A white 6’4 beardo. I’m thinking it’s more fit for 5’5 Korean women weighing no more than 130 pounds. So, maybe smaller people will fit into these masks easier. I had a lot of difficulty fitting into the Jason mask than Martina did, and Martina’s bigger than most Korean girls, so I’m assuming someone even smaller than her would find these a perfect fit. Soo Zee refused to try them on, though. Said something about it being not in her pay grade, or something like that. HA! No, I’m joking. We didn’t ask Soo Zee to try them on. We were just getting over our colds/flus, so we’re cautious around the studio so that we don’t get anyone else sick.
Otherwise, I think it’s important to note that we did everything wrong with this item. We didn’t read the packaging at all. We just opened it up and started playing around with it, but then after filming the video we looked over the packaging and, err, learned about the error of our ways. For starters, the packaging says that it should be washed before using. Oops. Also, you’re not supposed to go to sleep in this. Oops. You’re supposed to wear it for half an hour, and your face is supposed to sweat. It’s kind of like a mini sauna on your face, and that makes you slimmer or something like that. And then you’re supposed to wash your face. Oops; we didn’t do that either. SooooOOOoooOOOooo if you’re thinking about picking this up, I’d suggest you follow the directions first, and not be impetuous children like we are :D
Anyhow, if you want to try these things out, because they’re hilarious and terrifying and would make for a great punishment for a drinking game, I’m sure, you can pick them up at Gmarket. Your friends will love you for it!
