This was a super fun WTF to play with! I am a huge fan of balloons. When I was little kid, my mom would buy a plain helium balloon when we were in really crowded places, like a fairground or amusement park. She tied it to my wrist and could cleverly watch my balloon bobbing amongst the busy crowd making it impossible for me to get lost if I tried to take off running. Of course I didn’t know any better, I was just like OOHHH FLOATING BAALLLLOOOONNNNN.
So we actually saw this shark balloon being used inside a coffeeshop in Korea and we were amazed. Why was a giant floating shark flying through a coffeeshop? I didn’t ask that question, I just accepted it. Once we got our very own shark balloon, I told Simon that I really wanted to take the shark outside to terrify innocent people but I was worried it might float away in a light breeze. I almost feel like this is the perfect innocent prank toy. We could take it to a mall or the subway in Korea and record people’s reactions as the shark silently creeps up on them. You know that it will go terribly wrong though, when some super strong person freaks out and punches it in the nose causing the ballon to explode and terrify everyone. OH OH! They should use these for the release party of Sharknado (which I’ve yet to see…part one or two) and just have them air swimming around! For now our shark will just casually reside on our WTF shelf in the studio terrifying Meemers in his dreams.
Well if you’re not a sissy baby like Simon and want to play around with your own remote control shark balloon, then you can pick it up on Gmarket and get to terrifying your animals!
